Detailed Itinerary

Day 1:
Bagdogra Airport to Phuntsholing (165 km / 4 hours)

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station and transfer to Phuntsholing. Check in at the hotel on arrival. In the evening, visit the local market and stay overnight in Phuntsholing.

Day 2:
Phuntsholing to Thimphu (180 km / 6 hours)

Post breakfast, process the permit and transfer to Thimphu. Check in at the hotel upon arrival. In the afternoon, visit the local market around the Clock Tower or you may also visit a disco-bar. Overnight stay will be in Thimphu.

Day 3:
Thimphu Sightseeing

Relish a hearty breakfast and embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Thimphu. Visit the BBS Tower or the view point, SAARC Building, India House, Handicraft School, Memorial Chorten and Simtokha Dzong. The evening is free for leisure and overnight stay will be arranged in Thimphu.

Day 4:
Thimphu to Paro (65 km / 2 hours)

Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast and transfer to Paro. Check in at the hotel upon arrival. In the afternoon, embark on a local sightseeing tour of Paro and visit Drukgyal Dzong, Ta Dzong (museum and a must-visit place), Paro Dzong, Paro Taktsang (also known as Tiger Nest) view point and Paro Market. The evening is free for personal activities. Overnight stay will be arranged in Paro.

Day 5:
Paro to Haa Valley to Paro

After a wholesome breakfast, take an excursion trip to Haa Valley and return back. Overnight stay will be arranged in Paro.

Day 6:
Paro to Phuntsholing (240 km / 6 hours)

Savour an appetizing breakfast and transfer to Phuntsholing. Check in at the hotel on arrival. Overnight stay will be arranged in Phuntsholing.

Day 7:
Phuntsholing to Bagdogra Airport (165 km / 4 hours)

After a scrumptious breakfast, depart to the Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station for your onward journey.
